Anyone with the following experience ???
I just got me new MP-201 pedal this weekend and i guess that i can also use this pedal together with my Boss RE-20.
Just wondered how to set this up as the manual for the RE-20 states that you can only use a Roland pedal...but i guess that the MP-201 can be setup to do the same.

Hey All,
Been looking at delay pedals to go with my voyager and soon to arrive Nord Electro 3.
The Re20 is the best specced (spelling?) pedal for the money in my opinion. Apart from the fact that it's digital. And has no memory. That being said, I have heard it on guitars and it sounds pretty damn good i have to say.
I need (would like) stereo for the Electro 3, so this knocks out a lot of the competitors straight away, including the mf104. If the Moog delay was stereo I would grab it.
I've looked at the EHX Memeroy man and Diamond memory lane as possible delays but both are mono and only the memory lane has tap tempo. Same for the Empress super delay and Line 6 DL4.
Does anyone know of a delay to fit the bill?
Got to be stereo, analoge and tap tempo, control mechanism would be nice!
Thanks,
Liam.

Eventide Timefactor.Does anyone know of a delay to fit the bill?
Another awasome looking delay is the JoMox T-Resonator. (I am not sure if it has tap-tempo, but it looks sweet!)
Music can Name the Unnamable and Communicate the Unknowable.
'I am... everything is... changed... they're calling... your face... interwoven... who is...' Patient mumbles inaudibly to a tune (sounds like 'Thanks for the memory).

Thanks analoghaze,
the timefactor is one i've not checked out yet.
Have been looking at the t-res too. Doesn't look very controlable though the lfo can be retriggered by the audio in. Reckon I'll get one for the studio for pure creation purposes.

I had the line 6 delay before i got the mf104.......it is stereo. its actually a pretty good delay pedal with alot of decent sounding settings (and alot of crappy ones too). i sold it because of the high price tag of the 104z. but i have been playing a friends (original 104) for a few years and when he moved away, i had to get one for myself.lsd wrote:Hey All,

Just wanted to give the RE-20 another big thumbs up. Pretty much have my voyager going through this at all times. It really send it into space!
Here is a video I made last year of some very 50's Forbidden Planet sounding fx using the Voyager and RE-20.

I played the voyager and many other synths both through a roland re-201 space echo and a moogerfooger delay. they're both amazing and warm sounding units: before trying them out I was not convinced about the need to spend hundreds of euros for a delay effect. now nearly any software or digital delay sounds really cold and sterile to my ears.
re-201 also has that nice spring reverb you were talking about, but it also needs much more care than the moog delay with all of its tape related issues. also the subtle pitch variations in the echo due to tape fluttering are going to give to your space sounds an unexpected and very musical feel. try to believe. but yes you need tape here: no digital emulation is going to give you that result. putting the delay or spring verb effect before the filter section gives you the opportunity to gate and filter the effect, which is a really interesting trick when properly done.

The answer to this is in the FAQ section.Mos Fet wrote: Can someone tell me how to post photos?
