Nick, I was thinking about what you said about the rear panel choices not happening. But wasn't the Voyager at one time only offered in one color? Now that they've added a black rear panel in the LP lineup, why COULDN'T they offer, say, a Little Phatty Select Series for a couple hundred bucks extra? You could even choose your own color LEDs! Or, for the price of the Voyager OS, you could have your clear back with an array of lights!

Just my twenty cents, what with inflation and all.

Kauri IS a nice wood...a bit expensive where I'm at, though. A green back panel would compliment those sides nicely, don't you think?

Still, a dark green or even camouflage would look sweet with those side panels. When you get done with them, perhaps you could get the Moog logo inlaid in mother of pearl? That would look nice.

What I'd like to do here is add the possibility of perhaps, instead (or along with the possibility) of different colors, what about different metals? Bronze? Brass? Copper, both patina and shiny? What about textures? Hammered? Polished? Diamond plate?
I'd like to hear what other Phatty owners, or future owners, think. I believe the LP lends itself to artists, not just of the performing musical kind, but also of the artisan kind. FYI, I've recently become a fan of the SteamPunk movement. Google steampunk for further explaination.
Thanks for over 5000 views!

I agree that these little synths are works of visual as well as auditory art.
I'm pretty happy with the look of the rear panel on my stage II, but I think if I had the option of going blue with blue LED's, I probably would.
Wood side panels? OH yes, please. Now you've got me really thinking...

For my input of side panels, check out my reply to EricK's MoogerFooger Cheek Idea in the Moogerfooger forum.
I seem to be in the redirection mode today.
