I saved the forum URL so I can click on it and come here without having to bring up the main Moog site at all.

I 've had this forum saved as my only link to Moog Music.
As you've outlined above.
Everyone's different. :)

I just use the auto-type feature in Firefox.

And, I've had the URL memorised for a few years... 8)

And I am quite aware of the good work that you and others, particularly Greg have done in regards with support with the forum here. Many thanks and I hope that Moog Music recognizes it also.

In the meantime, I've downloaded just about everything I can from the old MoogSpace area, so it won't be lost. 8)

still turning those knobs.
Thanks for the kind words, Bruce. Much appreciated! :D

AFAIK, Moog has no plans to shutdown MoogSpace. It's been on the backburner for quite some time, and I've spoken to Chris Stack (Moog's Marketing Manager) about this on several occasions. From those conversations, I understand that the intention is to retool and relaunch MS at some point. But for now, it is what it is.

that is:
asking for my credit card number !!!
Although the amount is 0.00 $, it is asking to renew my subscription by entering a real credit card number.
Sorry, this is not something I will do. Even if it is now for free.
It is not trustworthy to ask for a credit card number to get 0.00 $.

Just tell me why?

Why subscribing to get great information that used to be free available on a Yahoo Group before Moog took over?
I don't think Moog Music is doing their loyal customers a great favour.
And the feedback of officials is ZERO. See my unanswered MoogSpace category thread being unanswered for many weeks. Hey, answering and informing is nothing Moog is unable to afford.
keep on turning these Moog knobs

I agree with Dave500, Till.

When I set up my MoogSpace account it never asked for any CC info. I would definately try setting up a new account.

Here's hoping you're right, Greg, about moog relaunching MoogSpace. I think the Movivator sites have proven that a good web presence can be an essential marketing tool, although I believe those sites are actually run by Keyfax and not Yamaha.

Bruce -

Till isn't the only one who has experience this problem - it's happened to others, too.

Moog may have corrected this for new sign-ups, but the problem still seems to exist for some of the MS pioneers like Till. I can see why it leaves a bad taste in the mouths of some - it simply shouldn't have happened.

Didn't know the problem was so widespread -- and can certainly see where that could leave a big sour taste.

Sorry but I feel the new site is a big step backwards. The original site was more modern and the fluid layout was a plus. Damn, the old site was 'cool'.
