After some more research I've found a video of a Sub owner using an E-RM external hardware midiclock. The Sub in the video does not respond straight away as it seemed to be waiting for the E-RM to send a 'start' or 'play' message. Does this sound about right to anyone syncing the Sub sequencer?

My Sub is going to the engineer at the Moog distributers in London for examination. I'll end the post within their findings. I doubt they will find anything 'wrong' with it as l believe it left the factory without the capability that I believed it should have so I expect it to return fairly soon.
