Looks like ground noise or possibly pre-amp noise.

I am having same issue with my Sub Phatty, an audible noise floor when a key is pressed (both oscillators, sub and noise-generator all turned to zero). The noise even has the amp envelope characteristics (if I turn the attack to zero theres a click, if I turn the attack to longer times the noise sweeps in).
Has anyone figured out if this is in all the synths or if this is true problem with some of the units? I too am trying to make deep bass sounds but get the annoying hiss.
Thanks
Rishi

I had the opposite, a TRS solved the issue. my sound card inputs are balanced

Hi, this is happening on my sub 37 2 days old.
I have only played with my headphones. Same noise that is effected by the envelopes. When paying triangle with filter know at 320hz and osc 1 or 2 at any volume position, this white noise can be heard.
Could some one let me know if this was sorted out?
Thanks
