Yes it is free. SoundTower upgrades are always free. We expect it to be out late December.

The reason it is late is because of the phycial upgrade coming for your machines. Software in this case has to follow the hardware...but hopefully we will have something new for you to do during the latter days of Christmas!

cheers

Is that "hardware upgrade" something besides the memory board upgrade?

No, it's the memory board.

Ok...

You guys should really try and talk Moogmusic into the "filter glide" upgrade

That would be a hardware issue, it can not be implemented through software. This means you would have to physically add hardware components to the Voyager and I don't see that happening.

Don't you add something for the memory upgrade?

Moog could make a daughterboard that has rocker switch on it. They could then also supply a drill bit, and nippy cutters to cut a space between the mod and pitch wheels.

Or better yet just a regular ON/OFF switch that has leads on it and you could mount the daughterboard into the cabinet.

OysterRock you just got to get creative man!

I am creative, but its not a question of creativity! Its practicality! This isn't like switching out a memory board, its would require extra space that may not be available and changing the face of the Voyager. The factory would have to do it, they would not have a kit. Adding knobs and switches! it ain't gonna happen....

...and you got to ask, how many people would really want this upgrade? I don't feel like I need it and I think most would agree, especially since it would cost a lot!

Keep the suggestions coming; we'd hate to get bored. We need to stay on the right track, no? LOL.
