Thanks for publishing the OS 3.x now for the benefit of all Voyagers out there in the fields.
Sorry, for me (Qwave = TEK = till) acting like this, Steve. I was as mad as you were when deleting the thread of FrankB.

and now we keep on turing these Voyager knobs

Thanks so much!! I'm glad this issue has been resolved -- but when there was no word on it from Moog, and the develper is releasing it on his own, I didn't know what to think. It's true that patience is a virtue, but that was kind of a funky turn of events.

Thanks again!

Several people (me included) have reported trouble when loading the the new OS such as half their presets being scrambled or the "cursor" button not working properly. So backup your presets before loading!

Hi Steve,

thanks for your statements! Everything is fine now, again.

So we can start discussing all the new (fine, helpful, ...) features again to get the most benefit from them (and to raise our hopes that V3.1 wasn't the last OS). But let's do it in separate threads...

Is the Moogmusic version the same as the one on Rudi's site? I downloaded the one on Rudi's site and I'm wondering if the Moogmusic one is better?

Sure, it's 100% better of course!

The version at the Moog Music site comes with a read-me file. That is THE difference.

So I don't need to reload the 3.1 from the Moogmusic site?

I ask this because something in one of the Menus says (reserved).

And then someone says there are "Easter Eggs" in the program. Is Easter Egg another way of saying Bug or some sort of Virus that might damage the Voayger?

My guess is, that the reserved item in the menu will be filled by some new feature, that is in the pipeline, in the next release.

I just ordered the new 3.0 bd, does this mean that it will be updated to ver. 3.1?

The board is hardware that was released to add ALL the new OS 3.0 or better features. The new board will give you seven times the memory for your or others sounds.
So if the included OS is 3.0, all you need is to upgrade to OS 3.1 using a Sysex or MIDI sequencer as tool and the free OS 3.1 OS files from the Moog Music page.
But be sure to read the manually.
And do a backup of your sounds BEFORE installing the new board (as written in the boards instructions).
