When finding your realisation, I also could not resist to customize my Little Phatty Stage to go with my Nord NE3.
Last Xmas, I had the chance to convince my father-in-law, who is carpenter to help me finalize the project!...and I also enjoy the result
The panels are made of maple wood. There is one layer of red paint, 2 satin lack layers, and finally two gloss coated layers to get the overall brillant "plastic" texture. Approx. 6 hours of work to carve the panel pieces from the raw board, and few days of patience for successive painting, drying, and rubbing.
