Don't want to start a crusade but I think there is only one dev guy for all the products and he's been updating the instruments firmwares for a couple of months now and will continue for at least as much.
But I don't want to start a crusade so I'd better shut up. Promise!

Moog should invest in more employees to work on this stuff if that's the case. Or wait until things are rock-solid before releasing.

I'm getting wearied. I really need to control my moogerfooger with midi tap tempo, but it is actually unusable. Since 1 year (!!!!) I've already contacted two times the support about this concern. The guy is very nice, but told me to wait. I love this pedal, but almost do not use it ...

I was told the other day that Moog is supposedly scheduling the firmware update for December.
I guess we shall see.

I bought the H9 eventide two weeks ago, it took place in my rig (I'm guitarist). I needed something fully working with midi control. For now I keep the moogerfooger for fun at home, this is a very nice device with an emotional attachment. I'll think about what I'll do with it. I really want to keep both. The mf104m is a magical device. I hope that Moog won't stop development at 99% of functionality.

Nearly a year after I started this topic, and in a few months it will be 2 years of having these problems.
And Moog hasn't lifted a finger to fix it.
$700 delay, and zero support from the manufacturer to fix the problems.
It feels like an insult every time they roll out a new product without going back and fixing this.

Buggy firmware has been a hallmark of Moog products for years, and Moog has been painfully slow in addressing issues brought up across various product lines.
Witness how long it took to get functioning T3 firmware. The T3 was pushed out the warehouse door with much fanfare and then essentially abandoned until enough OWNERS complained about stuck notes and started numerous threads in the forum.
Using their customer base for never-ending beta testing of one buggy version of firmware after another (following months and even years of delay) is getting pretty old.

There is supposedly now a team of in-house programmers.

Good to hear!
I understand that some of you love Moog and want to stick up for them, but it's completely understandable that people are upset. This one of the most expensive delays on the market and the company seemingly abandoned it while they keep launching new products. It doesn't make any sense for somebody to mock people that are upset about a function that probably caused them to buy it in the first place.

It's not the upset that I'm addressing. It's the way of dumping a poop-load of negativity on a forum where we could otherwise help troubleshoot problems and issues. That's what I call a tantrum and to be expected from young children. Seriously, do you act this way to others in real life?
If you can't say something constructively, then say it on a forum (not)...

You really have to call them. It took me a year to figure it out, but they just don't respond to emails well. It's difficult for me since I normally get time to spend on this stuff at odd hours.
