That precisely. Well, I'll have a double check tomorrow.

Indeed. If we don't talk sound, the EHX's footprint is more pedalboard/keyboard friendly. But I have both and I'd have a hard time choosing only one.

Ok... the Moog... I guess... in my current project, at least.

I compromised with a Deluxe Memory Boy, which has assignable CV in, effect/aux in & out, tap tempo and time splitting. It's not a Moog, but I have fun with it. I usually use the CV to control the feedback, but other parameters can be controlled (one at a time).

Good luck with your choice. I think there may be a 104 in my future.

Functionwise, the DMB and the DMMTT are very alike. The only differences are:
- modulation: square + triangle on the DMB vs. triangle only on the DMMTT
- filter: the DMB has a built in filter for the feedback loop
- feedback ramp: the DMMTT has that quick feedback increase/decrease function by holding the tap tempo switch.
- external tap tempo input: on the DMMTT only.

Soundwise, trhey're quite different: the DMB is deliciously paddy since it eats attacks and high frequencies, while the DMMTT brings more proper repetitions. The BBD chips are different.

It's a matter of taste, really. My bandmate has the DMB: it sounds wonderful on his guitar, yet I bought/sold one since I cannot have it pleasing my ears with my gear.

Buying a Sub Phatty this weekend and was planning to get a Moog 104M to go with it. I LOVE the sound of the 104M, but due to the cost of it, I have to at least weigh other options before making the final decision. Another necessary piece for me is the Zvex Lo-Fi Junky, however I can emulate this in Ableton right now, and even if I buy the Moogerfooger, I can still have two of these by mid summer.

As of now I'm considering the Pittsburg Modular Cell 48 System 2, which looks like it would be a ton of fun to play with and it's bucket brigade based :

I'm going with the Pittsburgh system for my Voyager:

- Analog delay... probably won't sound exactly like a MF-104M, but analog is analog, right?
- CV interfacing just like the MF-104M so whatever people say about the MF-104M sounding "alive" because of control voltage also applies here
- Basic 8-step CV sequencer (I have none anyway)
- Ring modulator
- No MIDI or software dependencies

I have a friend who is also planning to get one of the Cell 48s - might even be the System 2. He said the owner of Pittsburgh Modular told him that the ring modulator can be swapped out for another module, because he doesn't want a ring modulator.

I know this is an old post, a bit of searching brought me here. I was just wondering did you ever get the Lofi Junky? I'm thinking of making a purchase. I've heard of issues of too much compression when using it as a guitar pedal but there doesn't seem to be any reviews of what it would sound like with a synth.
