Uhhh...
Set "GLOBAL SETTINGS / USE PRESET VOLUME" to "ON"?
It works on my Sub Phatty.

how do you enter global settings?
Sorry, I didn't find this page.
Do you think System Utilities? I can find just HP vol.
Ah, and I'm talking about slim phatty.
And I still don't know, how to save a mod wheel position to a preset.

What about a "low" and "normal" setting for the LFO rate? (freerunning mode). The low setting would shift the entire rate-spectrum down to lower rates.

Duhh... Sorry,
I've been digging into the software of the Sub Phatty so much
that I missed that this post was about the "other" Phattys.
(I see SP and think Sub Phatty now.)
I really do like the presetting of both the Vol and Mod Wheel
on the Sub Phatty. It lets you present the patch the way you
intended.

Hey, no problem. I just hoped that I missed something... maybe a sub menu.
So, any chance of implementing this in next firmware?

preset mod wheel and master volume amount can definitely be implemented!
I have some ideas about how to free up serious space in the code...
it will take some experimenting before I can make too many promises, but I am optimistic.

Great news!
Another thing I wish to have is preset button option to reset the preset as you would do with changing presets, so without jumping back to what you did before when turning knobs.

This is possible already, isn't it? Just press Preset button and it goes back to red (or blue).
Aah. Ok. The point is when you've jsut pressed it, you would like not to go back to your fully edited version when turning a knob. Instead, you'd like to start again from the stored version. Right?

Yes, just like if I would go to another preset and than come back.

Not sure if there is an option for this already, but it would be great if there was a latch option outside of the arp and didn't require plugging in the gate CV input. I remember loving the latch key on my old micromoog. I even thought of DIY'ing a separate button to somehow make a connection internally on the CV gate path.

Amos, would it be possible to have any kind of simple FM? It could be implemented in a couple of ways.
1. When using OSC2 as the modulation source, the pitch destination affects both OSC1 and OSC2. Is it possible to affect only OSC1? It rings my bell that both oscs share the same bus so it is not possible.
2. Is it possible to have the LFO tracking the keyboard? This would be totally awesome and not so difficult to implement I think.
A different question is if it's possible not to track the OSC2. This wouldn't be very useful for FM but in combination with the sync could be interesting.
BTW, if we could have a Panel mode like in the Sub, wouldn't it be better than the advanced preset menus?

Wish list?
User-reassignable CCs.
My EWI4000s wind controller outpus CCs 2, 5, 7 and 11 but I want to control the LP filter on 19. I'd like to not have to use my computer (current solution) or buy a MIDI remapper box (> $100).
Or, possibly simpler, make CC#2 assignable to one or more CCs since it's currently unused by the LP. This would be an amazing gift to the (admittedly small) wind controller community.

This would be really cool for the expressive lead community.
Additionally, is there any possibility of high resolution smoothing for specific functions (a lag generator)? The ones that really need it (for expressiveness) in order of importance.
1) cutoff
2) oscillator waveform (pretty please

)
3) oscillator level
4) resonance
We'll take slow smooth cc's over quick raspy ones.

Ah, here is one I'd love to have on the Little Phatty as it exists on the Sub Phatty: loopable envelopes!!

You know how you can change some of the LFO sources to Noise and S&H in the menu structure? I wonder if it's possible to have OSC1 as another option (as an alternative to OSC2 on the panel) as a source and/or destination to achieve your FM idea and more modulation in general..

I'd love this too (especially for use with the CV Output Mod!!), if the coding space permits.
