Just a few points to clear up and I'll be done :-)

Seth, some people need blasting.

Alian, I'm glad that you are concerned about Rob's feelings regarding the obvious error of mine by misspelling his name. You weren't concerned about his feelings in your first response to him. The misspelling of his name was clearly not intended to be disrespectful. I have no idea how you came to that conclusion. Rob didn't seem to be concerned. BTW, what is the acceptable ratio of posts to years? Lame logic. Also. don't be somewhat perplexed. do it right, be totally perplexed.

Kenneth, I think that we all know that the forum is not a classified ad section, but Moog Music is the moderator, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Final comment; If I want to post a chicken for sell on the Moog Music site I will. Moog Music will delete the post, as they should. I should not be scolded by my fellow forum members who while have good intentions cross the line.

Anyway, no hard feelings on my part.

And I will not submit to shaming tactics because I rebuked sellers pushing non-moog merchandise, whether it is chicken or sex enhancing snake oil. When one points a finger at "crossing the line", there are three more pointing back at him.

My turn. :)

First, let me say that Moogmaniac is a friend and previous client of mine.
He's never lost his temper with me or been anything but reasonable.

Second, does it say somewhere that "for sale" posts are not allowed?
I briefly checked the FAQ and didn't see anything regarding sales.

Finally, Bob Moog raised chickens.
Take that as you will. ;-)

Actually I know Rob and he is a very nice guy. This thread needs to be deleted.

Either that or we can just watch how the conversation transforms from a heated discussion to random musings and friendly banter. I'm glad we can overcome our differences and be silly. :)

Hi, believe it or not, i forgot my password, and no matter how i tried,i couldn't get them to send me another password, maybe the server was down or there is a system glitch, i don't know so i re registered as my name backwards and here i am again. After chatting to Erik, he has inspired me so much that i've decided to keep my voyager after all, Watching his films has reminded me why i got it in the first place, after all i may be a guitarist but are we not all musicians and love sound?, i think so!", i certainly do,so i would like to humbly apologise for making such a stir in the moog community and hope that you all accept me as a fan at least of great sounds, and when i get my emotional life sorted out, maybe i'll post a film of me dabbling with my moog too,yes this is more than just a synth, the sounds are other worldly, i remember when i first got it, plugged it in and at first thought it didnt work, i was wearing Beyer Dynamic closed monitoring head phones,so next i turned the volume up to nearly full, and still no sound, perplexed i tried to get a grip because i panicked thinking" oh my god what have i spent two grand on?",, so then calmly i pressed a key again, and it was only then, when i was a bit more relaxed that i realised, although i couldn't seem to hear anything, my head was vibrating. I realised then that this was a subsonic frequency such as i had never heard before, so i carefully turned down the volume and adjusted the cut off freq, and then the fun began.Wow,seeing Erik reminded me of this and i can safely say he has saved me from doing something i know i will regret, it is worth more than just money.
HAND SIGNED MOOG VOYAGER NO LONGER FOR SALE!

Haha! Since you've re-registered again, let me say: Welcome again Bob !

And if, after all that fuss about your first post under a different alias, the final result is that you've decided to keep your valuable hand signed Voyager and re-discover it, then this can only be good news ! :D

Looking forward to reading you, and exchanging with you Trebor !

Yes, i just stayed up all night planning out where to set my synths up with the moog taking priority over everything, may invest in the freq box and cluster flux too, been out of touch for a while and didn't even know they existed, the new theremin looks interesting too with the extra modular functions, but i suppose the magic in all this stuff is in the endless experimentation, you could play with this stuff for two or three life times and still find something new out.
