Dan Fertita of The Dead Weather is used to playing the Phatty through a Fender combo, IIRC.
Vids of their live shows will tell you. Try the song Treat Me Like Your Mother.

If I'm not recording DI or running the voyager through a MarkBass amp, I like running it through my Fender Champ 600. Gives it a good, sizzling bite!

Sizzling bite sounds perfect!! But Im running my phatty straight into my interface. All internal sound..

In regards of producing crispy crunchy high frequencies, how would you compare it to a "traditional warm analog sound"?? Does it "muffle" the sound a bit? Unlike, say the sherman filterbank which is very raw in the higher frequencies..
