Given the 1 year gap, there appears to be NO MF-106...

I don't have it handy but when I bought the 104M delay, I don't think the 106M was on the box anymore ??
But I agree that there is a gap in the product line if one thinks of the MF line as portions of modular. And that could just a pair of envelopes, looping envelopes for that matter, with a feature to initiate gate after audio input crosses a threshold such as on the dotcom instrument interface. If you look around on SDIY sites, you'll see plenty of very simple schematics for analog envelope generators with [H]old/Delay, looping options, etc. It's a fairly simple circuit and aside from packaging, I really don't see what Moog would be able to add as a value add (except perhaps for the aesthetics of packaging). If packaged as a handful of functions into a CP type box or a MF package for the 300-400 price range, maybe they would be able to sell a few hundred. But I can tell you that at $92 for a dotcom Env gen, there is alot of competition.
As for general distortion / overdrive, there are plenty of low tech, and analog guitar pedals each of which could be adapted into a Fooger but at the price that Moog products fetch, it's got to be wonderful. If we are speculating, a wave folder might be interesting. Personally, I'd like to see a new CP-251 that has a Midi sync'able LFO with subdivisions, maybe just as an update. Otherwise? I really can't see much in the way of new Foogers but I could be wrong...
