I really hope they are taking notes. Haha.

Pretty new to the Moog world myself, so here's a simple one.
I love the tap-tempo for live performance flexibility, but wish sometimes it had its own dedicated button/control.

dagargo wrote:No destination in MOD section. This will be useful only when using the CV Out for the LFO.
For instance, you want the LFO to be the carrier of the MF 102 ring modulator or just to
patch the LFO to the VOL CV input to modulate amplitude. This way the LFO won't modulate
anything else.
"None" or "CV Out Only" as a Mod Destination
Dagargo stated this request well, but I'd like to officially "second" the request as it would be a beautiful
(and presumably simple) thing to do for those who own a Phatty with CV Outs and MoogerFoogers.
When I made a video demo using lots of MFs modulated by a LP with CVs, the need for a "None" or
"CV Out Only" choice for both of the LP's Mod Destinations became clear as soon as I tried using the
Phatty's Mod Wheel to do something to a MoogerFooger.
Thanks for listening. The video can be found at:

I don't come here as often as I used to, so imagine my shock that this thread is now 8 pages long!

Demon Dan, that is a most excellent idea to have a Mod destination for the outs on the orange backed Phatty.

Hi Voltor,
I think it's safe to say that it would be useful for *any* version of Little Phatty that has CV Outs added to it.
I do understand that a "None" or "CV Out Only" option could be initially puzzling for someone who hasn't added
the CV Outs yet but, as Dagargo and I both quickly discovered, the "MOD BUSS OUT" feature is less useful when
the only way to use it requires that you also modulate something inside the Phatty by the same amount.
Hope you had a great New Year's Eve. I spent mine playing Floyd:

Dan, I think that Amos has his hands full with new product development *cough* Taurus *cough* but I'd be surprised if a software update utilizing the CV outs isn't in planning...Moog is awesome with software updates like that.

That's awesome that you are in a Floyd cover band. My New Years was spent in a bar drinking and eating.

With any luck, LP IIIs would come standard with the CV OUT mods, so these destinations would of course be needed and not puzzling to novices

CV out to –?

Dan,
In this video, you run a CV from the LP to the 107 and play the 107 oscillator alone, with the 2 LP oscs turned off.
I have been trying to replicate this, without success. What CV output does this, and which input on the Freqbox?

Hi Yowzer,
I used the "Pitch CV Out" found on the right panel of my Little Phatty to modulate the "Freq" input on the MF-107.
I then used the Audio Out of the Phatty to drive the Audio In of the MF-107. This way the VCA on the MF-107 opens
up whenever the Phatty makes sound. You can use the MF-107 Mix knob to blend the ratio of Phatty to FreqBox.

Dan,
Thanks. I have sort of got it: by following your patch, the MF 107 does open up along with the LP, and I have sync or not to sync/mix, etc to blend to taste.
The tantalizing part is, with the LP output off, I can't play just the 107 like you do in the clip. It's not terribly important, I just can't get that particular aspect of it.
Thanks, by the way. Even my own patches confuse me!

Hi Yowzer,
No tantilization needed. If you're not getting audio to the MF-107's Audio In the VCA inside the
MF-107 won't let any of its internal oscillator be heard.
Setting the Mix to 100% wet will give you just the MF-107.

...As a pro classical organist, I get the chance to play on some very exquisite keyboards... I'm talking about the actual keys, made of beautifully grained woods and perfectly balanced. An LP with that type of keys would be so great. A luxury item, not a request for a standard LP III. Maybe I could get an organbuilder friend to graft some onto my LP II.

THIS I like! Perhaps a reverse colored ebony and oak keyboard.

Oh I love the idea of a limited edition of reversed keys. They'd be rad.

Sounds like a relatively easy factory mod to offer.
