So, I don't know if any of you guys know Brainiac, the singer/keyboardist/guitarist played a Moog of some sort. I recorded a cover of one of their songs called "Fresh New Eyes". It's just me on vocals/guitar/synth, I'm actually really happy with how it turned out.

This is a little blues loop I laid down in Mobius and then jammed to it in Pro Tools. It's all Little Phatty, nothing else.
Also, I did a cover of the Final Fantasy VII Prelude if anyone is interested.

I normally wouldn't listen to this kind of stuff. But it sounds pretty good, I really like the little noise stuff you did along the way. Personally I think that it could use a few melody lines over the bass to keep the song from dragging. Toward the end it got a little bit boring for me. You've got something going there though.
I like the bass tone in the song. It sounds like it could be a song in some sort of espionage film like the Bourne Identity or James Bond or something.

thanks for the feedback!

well, i am now into this monotonic techno-dub thing.

though i have been laying down really wonderful arpeggiated melodies recently when jamming around with a friend - it is indeed the sound one vst synth will never get close to. i am fascinated by the experience any time i turn my SP on.

i'll post more melodic-dubwise (not so dubstep-wise) things hopefully soon...
