You can put a FOR SALE topic in this forum if it's synth related. Other people do. :)

It seems most folks would like to trade things since cash is a scarcity in this economy, unfortuately.

Good luck on the sale! Let's just hope it doesn't turn into yet another Voyager/D thread.

Well theres no interest, moneys hard to come by.
Since Im not a keyboard player, Ill stow it in the garage and bring it out in about 5 years... Ill repost it here spring 2017  if anyones interested, I guess by then...it'll be worth more, I hope.

I have manikin memotron It works really fine when plugging into the minis inputs. Designed for it really. Maybe Ill keep it just for that, with it n the moog running with a Step Sequencer...
I thought I was dreaming... I was... in the 70's...come to think of it.. I was
thanks for all, I got lots of good pointers here when I was fixing it up-cheers

I'm not sure if you're up for this, but sometimes I'll take in a synth, perform my own TLC on the instrument, then sell it for the owner on Ebay. Often for more than an unserviced instrument.
You won't have to pay for shipping back or deal with the customer.
We do all the service, Ebay listing, emails, packing, shipping, etc.

...on that note, does anyone want an Oberheim two-voice, just serviced? :)

It is my experience that the "just serviced by qualified technician" synths draw investors, wealthy musicians, studios, etc. It's the only way they feel comfortable investing, and then usually, they have the money to invest.

If I had money to invest, I would be the most comfortable with a Minimoog serviced by Mr. Lightner. I think you should take his offer.

Would love one! How much are you asking? Less than the cost of a reissue? :D

I haven't researched prices yet. Make an offer.
If nothing else, yours will be the first offer.

Regardless, I imagine it would be at least a couple thousand.
With two SEMs, a Minisequencer, a keyboard (freshly rebushed), enclosure and a mixer, it adds up.

The two voice includes some things the four and eight voices don't too.
A sequencer, noise source and sample/hold w/lag.
You can transpose a sequence with the keyboard too. Always nice.

I might add clock in and out jacks just for some icing on the cake.
Then the sequencer can clock from external signals or be the master clock for other goodies.
I have the exact same jacks and SEM style molex connectors (even in the correct colors), so it'll look stock inside. :)

Finally gone to a fine fellow in 'la belle province' for the remarkable price of 2200cdn,
thats about double from its original cost-
wish I could do that with my 76 ford country squire-

shipping minimoogs in cardboard boxes 5000 miles is stressful business-it arrived safe and sound, plugged it in and moogie woogie woo...

thanks to all whom gave good tech advice when I needed it-cheers
wilby

PS now I get to spend some of my hard earned moog money...
