Re: Bring back the Moog Modular
they are bigger than french fries too.
nothing like the MD sh**, but big.
a bit like english, but fried twice, on different temperatures.
the mayonnaise sticks on them, it doesn't drip
there are different kinds of mayonaisse, and even combinations of ketchup, mayo and unions can be found.
what about hot sharp peanutbuttersause ?

Re: Bring back the Moog Modular
I've heard that some americans dip their hamburger in hot coco, but peanut butter on french fries ? That's intriguing...
I know that peanuts and chips go well together when watching a football game on TV. But I always end-up with an upset stomach after these... (and before some of you say it's the beer, I think you should know that I don't drink)
That made me think of a question to ask, to get back to synthesizers; do you always wash your hands, after a meal for example, before laying them on the keys of your favorite Moog synth ? Or do you just wipe them with a napkin ?

I second that! As if merely wiping them would be good enough.fyvewytches wrote:wash, definitely !!

Re: Bring back the Moog Modular
oh and to get back on topic.... the absolute best fries are to had in Belgium.
Cooked using analog gear of course... voltage controlled temp, great filters for removing overtastes, served up in cone shaped containers.... not the square wave containers you find in Holland/Netherlands/Dutch place - thing

Re: Bring back the Moog Modular
I've always wished Moog would set aside an engineer (Amos?) to work on converting the current circuit designs into a modular format. The question is should Moog stick with its legacy 5U (MU) format or design for the much more popular Eurorack format?
I'm not holding my breath and at least the MoogerFoogers have a generous amount of I/O even though they are very awkward to use.
Edit: Current campaign is to get a case, power supply and some modules for Amos to wet his appetite/addiction and spurring his support of a modular in engineering meetings!!

Re: Bring back the Moog Modular
MU (5u) is superior, but this is an American talking.
Physically, it's more generous panel size allow module designers more real estate for more jacks and knobs. Try squeezing a Fooger into a Euro format. And along the same line of thinking, you can actually get your hands on pots and such through the jungle of wires.
Also you can better spend your money on high end modules then save some dough for augmenting with lower cost Synth.com modules for tasks such as Env and CV manipulation.
But I think for the same reason that we get good distribution of Synth.com, the EU has better access to Euro manufactures. I just think it's better to build 'up' than out. Squeeze more into each module.
