I've just put a new piece on my website called Gilli. It's number 35 in the music player (at http://sweep.infinite9ths.com). There's no 34 at the moment due to a software bug.)

All the modulated stuff - bird noises and other analogue modulations - was done with the Voyager. The other instrument was a DX7, played in the editing-while-playing style that seems to be unique to me. (If anyone knows of someone else who plays a DX7 like that, let me know, because I haven't been able to find anyone else who does it.)

A Roland V-Synth was used as a signal processor, and I also used two Lexicons, an MPX 550 and an MX200.

I recorded this several years ago, but if you go here:
http://www.reverbnation.com/rhythmicons
and find the track "Electrical Storm", this is an all Voyager track that I did on a Voyager PE back in 2006.

Gabe calls it my "Pink Floyd" song lol.

Thanks!

You know, there is a video that goes with that, on youtube. Last Years halloween theremin contest video.

The only problem is the audio was screwed by youtube. I am in the process of reediting it with imovie and it should be perfect, aside from the video quality.

Like I said, It was a combination of my filter setings, youtube compression and my lack of normalization prior to upoad. None of my gain lights were on and I noticed no clipping when I did any of the many outtakes for the perfect score.

Thanks for your interest.

I love funk. Im a bit divided, because I don’t know which is more fun to play, funk drums, funky slap bass or Moog. Im not a keyboard player though so…

I like the jazzy Rhodes call and response you were doing and Ive always liked to try and take a fast paced song and play a slow solo over it (To the Bridge).

Thats not you with the breasts in that photo was it? lol. Its kind of wierd though seeing Bob surrounded by nurses, doesn’t inspire the best feelings considering how he died and all but he would have probably chuckled about it.

I love Funk. Im digging yalls sound.

Thanks for listening, EricK!

I think playing funk drums is a very hard job, not really fun, you have to be very disciplined, not to make too many variations. Our bass player has a lot of fun when we rehearse, he uses a looper pedal, so he has a lot of free time to drink coffee and watch the others playing ;-). I'm very satisfied with my role as a keyboarder in the band. I can do everything i want, because the music does not really depend on me.

The guys on the photo are no normal nurses, they are Querulogists, Experts in healing linearity and constancy. The woman with the brown cloths is a one of our most important member, she builds the medical devices which are needed to cure linearity (BTW, her devices healed me also!).
