A little video I made of the critter and guitari pocket piano running through an MF-108M and eventide space.

I am a bit disapointed by the noise floor, it is the noisisest of all my foogers.
Is it just me ?

Before I got the 108, I had the 101,102,104 and 107. These produced a little bit of noise that really annoyed me.
Now, when there is no doubt much more noise, Im actually a little relieved. Its like I dont have to worry about it anymore.

Whenever I pay attention to the noise, I smile and think "Its part of my sound now. It needs to be there"..

I don't know about that... I just got mine today. I thought my 101 was noisy. The Flux is probably the single noisiest piece of equipment I have ever used. :(

Cluster-Flux #601 in Marysville WA.

Patched P-Bass > JoeMeek VC6q > MF-108M > MF-104SD with epic results.

Voyager EB > 108M > MF-104SD with 108 at extreme feedback and oscillator speed and amount settings gave equally gratifying results. Self-oscillation combined with manually twisting the delay time knob does really fat pitch shifting.

Not noticing any extra noise through either set up.

Mine arrived a week ago, serial #3xx.

Haven't dug deep into it yet but it is a very nice sounding pedal. So far it sounds great on my Rhodes which is the main reason I bought one. Will experiment with the other toys in my arsenal.

Negative feedback is much more effective in flange than chorus mode. And it isn't a true stereo output, the wet signal is just inverted in the other side - not a problem until you switch to mono as the wet signal will cancel out.

The MIDI control offered on this thing is insane - there is a CC for all the front panel knobs except input/output level. You don't normally expect this much control from a stompbox!

Just in case other were not aware - I stumbled across this yesterday

http://www.moogmusic.com/products/mooge ... nloads-tab

New Firmware for the Clusterflux. Fixes the bug where by midi will not work if the midi cable is connected during power up, as well as adding more midi functions.

Update - i returned my first flux for another i just received yesterday. I am happy to report that it is not nearly as noisy so the first one was a dud. There is sill a little hiss but its fine.

This pedal sounds great! Cant wait to experiment with it more.

Hi. (This is my first post here.)
I got a ClusterFlux about 3-4 weeks ago, my first bit of moog gear, which ignited a bit of a moog addiction, so I got the MF-101 and MF-105M as well! Also ordered a Slim Phatty a few days ago, and eagerly waiting for it to arrive. I'm blown away by the clusterflux, and I haven't even begun to explore the MIDI features, (other than Tempo Sync).

Anyway, I recorded a short clip of myself messing around with the DSI Tempest and MF-101 & MF-108M, (envelope from the LP Filter CV to the Time CV of the ClusterFlux.)

The video is at http://www.youtube.com/puzzlegob and the soundcloud clip is at http://www.soundcloud.com/puzzlegob/foogy

#0393 landed next to my other foogers the other day, still waiting to get the time to explore it some more - but my MonoPoly sounded pretty good through it when I did a little test! Video to follow after the holiday period maybe...
:D
