Filatron on iPad

Post by chasard » Sun Oct 23, 2011 7:29 pm

Any instructions on using Filatron on an iPad? Everything seems to refer to iPod or iPhone. Can you use the Alesis io dock for input vice the iPod line.

Hi,

The iPad version has an inbuilt manual too, check it out. As to the Alesis dock, I can't say for sure, but Filtatron does work with iPad bottom connector. I have used Apogee Jam with it, with good results.

Hope that helps.

i have hardly spent any time with it at all yet, but I used it (both phone & pad versions) thru the mix in out on the back of the Voyager with amusing results...

there's a downloadable pdf of the Filtatron manual you can search for and load into the BOOKS app on your iPAD- i keep all my manuals loaded in there (animoog, voyager, editor-librarian, other synths, audio gear etc.)

I like using the self oscillating filter as my MF-102 Carrier! The variable LFO makes for a lot of fun.
