Filtatron is great, but...

... is anyone else experiencing latency issues?
Even on my iPad2, I can't use it as a proper effect unit, as the latency is far too high (estimated 250 ms).
I know Filtatron was never meant to be a moogerfooger, but apart from playing around a bit, it's not really usable as a live effects unit, or is it? Is there any trick I missed ? Will it work better with iRig? :)

go to the main Settings app and there should be an entry for Filtatron. There are some latency adjustments you can make there, which should be able to improve matters somewhat if you haven't tried it yet...
