MURF VST EDITOR! WOO WOO

Awwwww yeah! I think I'll be grabbing another one now.

VST MuRF Controller

MuRF_Controller is an exciting addition for any Midi MuRF owner wanting to easily control and expand its' power and capabilities from within their DAW.

Features include:

•Full automation functionality- Use your DAW’s plugin automation tools to create fully automated parameter changes on the MIDI MuRF. Every knob and every filter is now "easily" edited from the MuRF_Controller.

•Create, recall and save presets- Quickly capture and recall any amazing sound you have created on your MIDI MuRF. Once you've discovered a sound, you can easily save it within your MuRF_Controller plug-in.

• Envelope Scale- Allows you to access a time multiplier for the envelope that "stretches” or “shrinks” the duration of the envelope without changing the envelope shape. Changing the envelope time scale independent from the pattern rate provides a whole new range of sonic effects!

• LFO Rate- Directly access and control the MuRF's LFO speed

• Staccato and Triplet mode- Allows access to even more creative musical timing modes in the MIDI MuRF

Ummm, unless I'm totally missing this, they didn't include the pattern editor or playlist

I think I can create the patterns in the standalone, then open them in the vst, but it would have been nice to have the patterns/playlist controllable via midi.

Put the murf in trigger mode and create the patterns with a sequencer inside your daw

Have never heard of 'trigger mode, but you've never needed anything extra with the Midi Murf to
sequence the faders with a DAW, just
read the fine manual for which MIDI note triggers which fader (there are a couple of modes, so it's like 8 faders x 3 midi notes)
and set up a sequence using those notes, big fun. No VST needed if all you want is faders on/off
Matter of fact, if you have a drum machine that outputs MIDI notes, you can sequence MM faders with that.
Big fun.

It is NOT working here for me with Ableton Live on OS X 10.6.8 !
This Plug in is only working if the plug in window is open !
(with an novation Remote controller I don't need to open the window of a plug in)
Hmmm, if I close the window, I have no midi output, no Automation ... :-(

Did I something wrong - any help ?

best,
frank

Bumping again. I love my MidiMuRF and would love to have it integrated in my PT work without all the headache of inserts and midi control...
