Which fooger do you have or want two of?
Which fooger do you have or want two of?
Planning my Moogertron, which will be used both as an audio processor for bass/guitar/synth and as a stand alone modular synth. Most of the foogers will be included, but I thought I´d ask around to see which one there could be use for two of. For me I guess the Freqbox would need to be used enough to justify a pair, since I like to play my bass a lot and I want it to go through the Freqbox as well as it would be the primary synth oscillator.

Re: Which fooger do you have or want two of?
I have or have had 2 of the following:
Delay (Down to one)
Phaser (2)
RING MOD ( 2 Took a while to get it together, but now it is my favorite.)
CP-251 (2)

CP-251 (2)

Re: Which fooger do you have or want two of?
I definatelty wish that I had more than one delay.
Depending on what you want, you might need at least 2 filters, phasers, delays, but most definately, 2 CP251's.
I say this because if you have something delayed already, and want something else delayed...you need more than 1 delay.
Filters are not redundant in a modular system.
Phasers aren't either, depending on if you use one for the LFO and another for its phaser.
But the more foogers that you have, the more you might want to use the mixer for audio, and still have a CV mixer. You can't have enough mults or attenuators, or sample and hold or noise sources either.

Re: Which fooger do you have or want two of?
As I've mentioned earlier, I have two delays, 1 SD and 1 Z.
I would like to get the Midi Murf to go along with my analog MURF .
I would like a second LPF and phaser.
If they update the Ringmod for a more expansive waveform range, I might consider a second. If they get around to making a new gen of delay pedals incorporating multiple-wave lfos, filters, then I might consider that one too.
And of course in a post-psych world you're gonna need two ClusterFluxes: one for chorus and the other for flange.

Definately 2 cp251s and 2 ringmods, but really two of everything would be ideal lol or one for every instrument/mixer channel... Just sell your car and see how many you can buy with the money

Re: Which fooger do you have or want two of?
I want another Low Pass Filter.
I use it with an MP-201 and bass for both synth like swells, and also with the LFO generator for fantastic tremolo… but to be able to have the tremolo going AND swell that in would be awesome!

I think the last I bought is one of the best, with the widest sonic possibilities. I'm talking about the venerable MF 103 12-stage Phaser. Combine two of them must be incredible !
