first feet on

Post by sunny pedaal » Mon Oct 04, 2010 5:25 pm

just got the thing , was able to first try it today.
..
.
yes ,
it sounds good, feels good too, love it.
afcourse some strange thoughts also
one is something like:
is he broken?
if i select upper, want to acces the upper parameter by foot, like cutoff/res etc, the "leds" are red ???
why ?????
the letters are white, upper is written in white, so why are the led colours just the other way round.
anybody ?, please...
really had to read the manual to find out my unit isn't broken, why so difficult, am i the only one to have that confusing experience.
i would think red leds for the red ( lower) parameter, and amber/white for the upper parameters.
was somebody drunk, colourblind, not able to decide ??

well , that far for the good news.
i really like it, and will certainly let you know of some more good idea's creep up !
cheers, sunny
( i'm going up again to the studio....)

Hhmm, I think you may be the one with colourblindness. The lower writing is orange and the LEDs are orange. Sure the upper writing is white and the Leds are red, but I guess red writing would be hard to see, although white LEDs would have been cool.

So just think orange text = orange LED.

still going strong on the taurus over here.
i love the concept:
sound real full, and love the programming: big numbers the wheel, and best invention ( why didn't somebody else come up with it already ) single numbers by dial, or 10's by pushing the dail !.
that way it's so easy to percisely set b.e. the cutoff, the resonance etc.
this synth , with this sound and controlmethode, as a "hand synth", and then with fully implemented waveforms and 2 full adsr's , i'd go for it.

on the other hand : at last my feet have something to do, and it's very convienent ( once you'll get the colours right..) so ( without shoes) i can really control the sound with only feet.
don't have ever experienced another synth like this.
chapeau !
