MP201 as a midi interface for voyage update

hi I try to updade my voyager with PC -MP201-voyager.but its not working.i use a mac for music,is it possible to update the voyager via logic?(sysexmidifile)

I don't think the MP-201 will work as a USB MIDI interface for sending sysEx data from your computer to another synth. It will carry MIDI over USB to the MP-201, but not straight out to another synth (SysEx data is not merged like this).

Your best bet is to use a dedicated USB MIDI interface (like a MidiSport) and use SysEx Librarian, not Logic, to send the file. Also, be sure to load the Voyager OS files in the order: B, A, C, D.

Logic can send sysex, but I highly recommend using Sysex Librarian instead if you are on a mac.
So this thing only plays one note?

Yeah, SysEx Librarian indeed. It's free, non nonsense / low budget!, it's out there on the net and works fine with my M-Audio MIDIsport 2x2 at least.
