Not mine, but always interesting to look at.
Moog 55A on Ebay
This one seems to be built April 2, 1982. Guessing from the serial, this would be a system 55A, without the sequencer. Looks to be stock. If money was not an issue, I would make an offer on this one.

The asking price is an Ebay loophole. Will probably be sold behind Ebay for less without the Ebay fees. I'm sure the seller won't turn down a resonable offer?

For half that money I could have Roger build a larger system. And it would all be new and working.

I always love those synth auctions that say.."I have a friend who checked it out" and "I'm a guitarist' what they are saying is I don't really know jack about this thing, but somebody else told me it's ok...

Yeah that's a red flag in my book.
"Had a friend check it out" could mean he had his neighbor look at it and go "oooh, ahhhh"

I swear that there was a poster here awhile back that had that same 55 tilted cabinet that was sitting on a tiled countertop, except these were homemade modules, cabnetized, I think from europe, maybe Italy.
I swore that this was the same one until I saw a different picture from the rear with the yellow tags.
Still counld be a scam auction though.

It says that they would accept cash for a local pickup/delivery.. and the background imagery appears in line with the stated location of 'El Monte, CA', so I don't think its a scam, but pricey for sure. For 46k I'd want some sort of professional check up completed before dropping the dough!

For $46K? I'd expect a BRAND NEW 55...not one nearly as old as me...
Minitaur, CP-251, EHX #1 Echo, EHX Space Drums/Crash Pads, QSC GX-3, Pyramid stereo power amp, Miracle Pianos, Walking Stick ribbon controller, Synthutron.com, 1983 Hammond organ, dot com modular.

For 46K you could have the largest new Buchla 200e!
