Just downloaded the demo for the Mac - tried to select the MIDI ports and when I clicked OK, it crashed - below is the stack trace if the developer of that program is watching - it's too hard to try and figure out how to send this info to Moog directly.

MiniMoog editor crash
I too had the 'quits' and similar bad kernels for ages until I figured out that CoreAudio must be selected in the Midi Setup as you are runnng 10.3.6. It finally launched! You may have already done this of course. So I can now see the Demo - EXCEPT I cannot get the thing to communicate despite setting up the correct midi connections. If it's this complicated in demo mode I am unsure of purchasing. Let me know if you get any further than I have! Good luck.

Hello; I bought the Voyager editor (PC) last year but still have problems. The communication from the computer to the Voyager doesn't work. Though the computer doesn't crash with the last version (I think 1.1.8 ) I'm not able to use the software in a way it is intended to.
I updated the OS to v2.5 with MIDI-OX over the same interface (RME Multiface) and it worked properly - so I think there must be something wrong with the editor. As far as I read it some forum posts there are some users getting it to work properly but - unfortunately not here. I had a good discussion with Rudi Linhard from germany about this but no reply from soundtower until now.

Hi UKM, I am sure you have already gone over this if you have spoken with Rudi since updating the OS... but I had that same problem earlier today (Voyager would update the Editor in realtime, but changes onscreen were not reflected in the Voyager), and it turned out to be user error on my part. I went to "Receive Update" on the MASTER menu, and it was set to "Sysex Disabled." This is why even though the MIDI activity light on the Voyager blinked on when I changed parameters in the Editor, it was ignoring my changes until I set it to "Sysex Enabled." I thought I had checked everything but since I wasn't wanting to update the OS I forgot to look under "Receive Update." Fortunately, Steve Dunnington was able to get me sorted out... (go, Steve! You rock.)
