Taurus Progress?

Post by HB3 » Wed Oct 07, 2009 12:45 am

Just thought I'd enter another plea for news...

It's getting close to the end of the year...how's that "shipping by the end of the year" thing coming?

The original ad said November - how likely is it? Not even any pics yet :(

I made a payment on my pedals and asked Linda about the shipping costs. Linda said that she didn't expect to know the exact shipping costs until the end of october. As far as I know it is on schedule.

IM EXCITED. Hell, I was excited because I just KNEW I was going to get to see a picture of them at the summer namm lolol.

I hope they take all the time in the world though. If you look at the last few things to come out, the Phatty and the MP201, they were later than expected.

Let them take all the time they need to perfect the OS. Usually the first run of everything has quirks.

How about a teaser or something? A picture of the old Taurus with new demos would be nice.

I don't know, they let me pay on mine, ive paid almost 1300 on mine so far, but the first payment I made was several months ago. Maybe they decided since then that they didn't want to keep up with 1000 different balances.

I wouldn't worry about it, your money is at least drawing interest until then hehe.

For me, now might be the time to pay, seeing as our dollar is getting up there (was NZ$1 = US$0.50, now 0.74).

During the R&D phase

See those highly curved waveforms on the 'scope? That's an overdriven filter.

MC,

How did you find that awesome pic!?

Gets me excited for the bowel shaking bass that is going to ensue in clubs and on recordings all over the world.

I wish they would give us a hint like they did with the phatty, a picture of the side panels, a hi fi sound clip, SOMETHING.

Something to have us keeping a spot warm for it in the studio.

I can't wait to try it with Midi, doing bass drones on the voyager keyboard and leads on the other side.

Im very excited!

Oh man, I can't imagine what that's going to be like - having all that midi'd up with my Phatty and Voyager RME.

I better put an adult diaper on just in case I accidently turn the resonance up too much and bring down the cutoff. Side effects may vary.
