Man my father has a bunch of that stuff on vinyl. Lots of Hancock, Lots of Chick Corea, lots of Miles (especially the pre-columbia miles), lots of Brubeck. I made a Hancock compilation tape from Sunlight, Headhunters, Thrust (best album cover ever) and Man Child. he's been held hostage in my car tape player for about 2 years.

I've owned loads, but currently:
Moog Voyager "Fire"
Novation SuperNova II (will be expanded to 48 voice eventually)
Korg Trinity Pro X (and there ends my current keyboard setup - it was 7 before)
Roland XV3080 with Techno & House cards (because they were cheap)
Roland D-550
Korg Wavestation A/D (with infuriating backlight whine)
Waldorf Pulse Plus
AHB Inpulse One Drum machine (undergoing restoration)
Sequential Drumtraks
Akai CD3000XL sampler
Out of use:
Yamaha CX5M with FM Module II
Commodore 64 with Prophet64/MIDI (dualSID upgrade and audio out waiting for free time)
BBC Hybrid Music System (8-voice digital synth controlled by computer)
Jen SX1000 (replaced on the stand by the Moog)
Stylophones
Recent departures:
Roland JD800, JX10, Juno 6, SH-101 (the latter three replaced by SuperNova II, the former by XV)
Akai AX73 (SuperNova II)
AlphaSyntauri system (went to Bletchley museum)
Jen SX2000
Roland GR77b MIDI bass and GR700 MIDI guitar
Potential newcomers:
Korg Oasys (to replace Trinity Pro X, if I can afford it and it genuinely feels like it has an advantage)
A theremin (the shop had a Moog one in, the price looked good...)
Moog Guitar (see MIDI guitars above; I have Kramers so I'm holding out for a slim 80s ESP-style neck, not some Gibson "choking an elephant" club).

oh, well.
Definitely a nerdish and goofy topic,
but... I am a newbie and just wanted to say hello.
Here's my lean and mean rig:
Moog Voyager
Yamaha VL 1
DSI prophet 8 rack
DSI tetr4
DSI mopho
Korg M1R EX (4 x)
Korg M3M+Radias
Controllers: Oberheim mc2000, Roland A70, plus the yamaha and moog which are used as controllers as well.
Morley fuzz+wha (for M1)
Alesis reverb unit
Behringer Mixer
No computer, no software synths.
In the past 35 years I have used more or less any available synth, and up to 2 rack-fulls of gear, but I slimmed down to this.
And I've never felt better.

My other synths: Moog Opus 3, Studio Electronics Omega 8, Korg R3 (only for live use), Nord Electro 3, Solina String Ensemble. (oh, looks like it's all in my sig already)
The Opus and Solina are great for bringing a little "seventies" to my otherwise rather modern sounding setup.

I've got some REALLY OLD and REALLY TERRIBLE recordings on http://myspace.com/analogytheband. The harshness of them makes my ears hurt
We're doing some more today (hopefully) so I should have some better ones soon. Multitrack recording and semi-proper mastering any day!
