Beyond a Joke!
Having been promised that Moog would deliver the CP-251s to UK distribution on the 15th of June I now hear it's been pushed back to June 30th. Trading Standards anyone?

all moog says, is 'check with the distributor in your country.'
distributors get tired too of telling customers that delivery has been pushed back yet again. they no longer rely on the information they get from moog.
8-10 weeks has become 28 weeks now. then moog explains that the 8-10 weeks lead time was for the US domestic market. as if international delivery would take 4 months.
by now i think this is bad performance.
the cp251 may have been a free giveaway, but it was definitely a selling point and it made me calculate, recalculate and decide to buy a voyager and a little phatty, i see it as an integral part of the deal; i have promptly paid in full and moog is not delivering and isn't very apologetic about it either.
i really hope this was all english!

Wow I can't believe how long it took for you guys over seas to get your cp's
Do you think there is a chance of moog doing this again soon? Im getting the itch and I don't want to scratch and then a month later they drop this deal again

My modular so far: Q104, Q106 x2, Q107, Q108, Q109 x2 , Q116, Q118, Q127 w/Q140, Q130, STG Wave Folder, Mixer and Mankato playing with Moog Voyager, VX-351, CP-251, MF-104M x2 ( STEREO!) Volca Beats and Bass, Arturia Beat step
There is always a chance, but that's the risk that you take when buying something new. In my case, Moog announced the free CP-251 deal about two weeks after I bought my Little Phatty. I was happy with the synth, the price I paid, and the vendor, so I didn't see any reason to complain.ColorForm2113 wrote:Do you think there is a chance of moog doing this again soon?
