In response to Matt, I'd have to go with the ring mod. It integrates very well with the CP-251. Once you get the ring mod, get the phaser. Those two interact very well. Especially with the 251 in the mix.

In response to thefunktopus, you are correct. It's absolutely insane what the 251 is capable of.

Just out of interest, is anyone else still waiting for their CP-251?
Talk about it seems to have died down a bit, so are you all off busy playing?

I'm still waiting for mine is all.

still waiting

Post by ldtregent » Fri Apr 17, 2009 9:45 am

:(

YES! I am still waiting. I actually have sort of given up hope at this point. I am outside the USA though so perhaps thats part of the delay. But I wish they'd at least send me an email telling me something.

Yes, I'm still waiting for mine as well. I mailed the form the day before the postmark due date, so I think that has something to do with it. I'm guessing Moog is sending them out in several flushes (I could be wrong), with those who sent in the form later receiving the CP-251 later.

i'm in europe and still waiting (for 2 cp251's). i have checked with the retailers, who contacted the national distributors and apparently i should get them by mid may. it would be 20 weeks then. and no word from moog. but from what i have read here, being a relatively small company is an excuse for not replying to e-mail or informing your customers of delays and delivery leadtimes. today is a new world i guess.

Still waiting for my CP-251. I'm not sure how much being from Europe should have to do with it, since I am located in New York. It would be courteous if Moog would at least respond to this thread or put up a notice on their Web site for those who are still waiting. If I don't have my CP-251 by the end of the week, I will try contacting Moog directly.

ok, slightly off topic: i wish i was from new york, if only for a week.
i'd give my cp251 for it, once i got it.

still nothing

This sucks. As much as I love my LPSII I dislike no one has even emailed me to tell me what is going on. But I never even got my sticker so I guess that's how it goes.

I contacted SF Marketing, the Moog distributor in Canada. I was informed that Moog was awaiting parts and I should expect a Late April or Early May shipping date.

Cheers,
Gord

print datediff("yyyy", "2008-11-26", now)
1

A year already? No that can't be! Ahhh computer mathematics

print datediff("d", "2008-11-26", now)
154

and counting

print datediff("n", "2008-11-26", now)*80
17813120

That would be in unexcited heartbeats

Meanwhile, my contact phone number at SF has turned into voice message box only, so I don't have weekly fresh news on the matter anymore.

UK Update

Post by agrashion » Tue May 05, 2009 11:53 am

I had an email from the distributor in the UK who estimated delivery in June - a bit longer than the 8-10 weeks promised in the offer.

To post pics, you need to first upload them to Flickr or another photo-sharing site that doesn't filter out forums. Then post the link here.

Yes, I got that from the FAQ section. But those who do it without linking, I hear it's done with Java or something. Just don't know how (yet).
