Songs w/ Little Phatty

Post by HB3 » Thu Feb 28, 2008 10:35 pm

I've got a couple songs with lots of LP on 'em.

Check out:

www.myspace.com/fromthelaboratory

The songs "Casual Betrayal" and "Overture (Behold the sea)."

Keyboard lines galore, usually stacking an LP and a CS-80V -- on "Casual Betrayal" it's the "Caspian" patch....I really love the solo on that song.

Thanks!

Hi HB3; nice solo!

"Caspian" is one of my favorite patches I've written; just so soulful. I thought it sounded like something Prince might have used back in the day, so I named it Caspian, after Prince Caspian from the C.S. Lewis novels. Now you know. :)

Cheers,

Amos

Amos...you did Caspian? God bless you for doing so -- I'm serious. I loooooove that patch....

The Phatty is such an inspiration....

Hi, boognish! Nice stuff! "Siwash in a Cave" is particularly groovatious. If I'm ever in Oshkosh, I'd love to come jam with y'all.

That new MGMT single uses a LP. You can see them play it on Letterman... with capes, haha.

I remember seeing those guys on Letterman when it was first broadcast.

They freaked me out so much I didn't even notice the LP.

Loved that the bass player was playing a Ric, though.

This monster came about when I put my microphone in front of my amp and just started fooling around with Garage Band. The only effect is the EHX #1 Digital Delay. I also bring the Walking Stick 20" ribbon into play. http://ia310843.us.archive.org/2/items/ ... ake-it.m4a

I can't...it wants to open WMP. Says not enough memory to run it. I rebooted my pc and it still won't work.
