Linda from Moog told me they are now accepting RMA's for the factory upgrade.

Needless to say, mine is going out first thing tomorrow.

I dropped my Etherwave off in Asheville last Friday for an upgrade. Amos said they hadn't started with the upgrade work yet. Since the process was labor intensive (drilling holes in the cabinet, etc.), he was going to accumulate a few and then do them all together. I was allowed to play with one in their testing room and I can say using a theremin as a Voyager controller is fantastic!

Thanks for that info!

I didn't realize it was so labor intensive.

The upgrades seem to be the same ideas published in the Theremin hot rodding manual. The volume/CV mod doesn't look too difficult, but the Pitch/CV/Gate/headphone/tuner mods look like a bit of trouble... I was thinking of getting my tech friend to do the volume/CV mod for me (1 capacitor, 4 resistors, a jack, and a couple connectors. Drill one hole on the bottom of the unit for the jack. Voila, instant 0-10V control!).

Sounds easier than replacing the LED display in my DD-50 with Nixie tubes...which I am waiting on parts for.

Looks like the new one is now available from the usual suspects on ebay.
