Select Series Voyagers

I'm thinking since you can get the lamps replace after they've dimmed, you could just ask for a different color. That takes quite some time though, and I try to conserve them. Green would really be sick, but it kinda says electric BLUE under the display

I'm curious to see some full photos of these custom models, not just the color and wood sample.

Don't companys usually start selling their products in different colors when they near the end of it's production life? To squeeze the last little bit of sales out of the product that will be discontinued?

Model variations have been a staple of Voyager production since the first 600 limited edition Signature editions were built.

Exactly, and besides, they already said that the line was the result of many requests for custom variants.

Would it kill the folks at Moog to actually post some nice photos of these Select Series Voyagers? I mean, is it really that hard to do? Am I missing something?

I have to admit, I do like the "Fire" color, it looks nice in the dark, and the red doesn't screw up you night vision. Personally, I think the trend towards blue LEDs is not good, it is too harsh and blinding.

I am still making do with the gooseneck on my Performer, but I kinda wish now I could upgrade to backlighting (I asked- it's not being offered, at least for now).

Was thinking the same thing. It's their flagship product, why is it showcased in such a marginal way? a thumbnail shot of one knob doesn't do justice to the visual impact of these awesome synths

I don't get it either.

Suggestions for new Backlight Colo(u)rs:

Ultra-violet: A painfully bright white light that does wonders for your tan whilst spending the Summer inside the studio.

Infra-red: Good for those Winter days where no central heating is available. Warning: may affect the tuning protocols.

I wish they could offer a choice of diff coloured screens tho,ive seen
blue screens and ornage screens on other synths,. im sure this wouldnt be too hard to do,

also how about UV backlights

or even orange ? mmmm so many variations.

You can simply change the LEDs on the LCD backlight, if you want. Usually blue backlit LCDs have white pixels, though, as the contrast is better.
