EP-2 Footpedal?

I was on Sweetwater.com and searched Moog, just to see what all they had...second page, bottom of the list there's a new item, the EP-2 Footpedal that's suppose to be heavier etc. than the EP-1. Does anyone know anything about this? Moog doesn't seem to have it or the EP-1 listed on the site anymore.

Ah, thanks Nathan.
That's a pisser...I bought the EP-1 earlier this year, and felt it was quite a bit cheap.
I asked and got a reply from you earlier about the MiniKP...I was thinking about getting it or any of it's sibling kaoss pads as a touch pad for the Little Phatty...Do you know if that's a successful combination?

it could be. i dont own an LP.
i think these effects are applyable and could be great with any instrument.
you even see people buiding kaosspads into their guitars.
i've put it after my semi-electronic drumkit (nice with delay or lowpass and such, or even looper)
the only minor about the minikp is that you dont see where your last parameters were. sowhen you put an effect on Hold and you want to change it, you could mess up.

the ep-1 is one of the crappiest exp pedals out there. I have two ernie ball volume pedals that a friend modded to be exp pedals but unfortunately they dont sweep the full range of the moogerfoogers...they work well enough though and I'd be VERy excited to get a new moog exp pedal that doesn't actually feel like a piece of crap. I've owner two different ep-1's in the past and both of them have broken...

From what I've heard the Moog EP-2 should be available after June 30, 07.

Better feel due to string/spring gizmo instead of treadle? Check.

STRING!? Although probably a sound design if so, I'd rather have a different mechanism. The EP-2 does sound great though.

Take a look at an Ernie Ball volume pedal.

Ernie Ball pedals use a similar internal string/spring arrangement: A nylon string winds around the shaft of the volume pot (several times). The string loops around some rollers and is attached to the foot pedal; one end at the toe, the other end at the heel. A spring keeps the string in tension. This results in a very reliable and precise mechanism - much better than the treadle design.

I'm a newbie here, and I'll apologize in advance, as I'm about to ask about something that's probably already been addressed here, BUT...
If I could use something I already have up my arsenal, namely, a Dunlop Trem/Wah, that would be BIG cool.
Do I run the risk of harming either pedal?
If not, what should I make/use to connect the volume pedal to a MF101?
The Dunlop has two knobs for the volume function. It's heel down: off to 0 db, toe down: 0 db to +6 db. Is that a problem, or a means of effecting the sweep when functioning as an expression pedal?
I might have a shot at a used Dunlop High Gain dirt cheap. Any thoughts?
