Can some one tell me how envelope out from the VX-351 works?
I would like to send a ADSR (from the Voyager hopefully) to a modular VCA(that I haven't bought yet). Will this path work?
MMV > VX-351(Env Volume Out) > VCA(CV in)
VX-351 and CV Outs (Help)
I was thinking at the time of building the new dual VCA from Blacet. Still will when I can save up a few $.
Now I've bought the Stiner-Parker Synthacon VCF kit. From Ken Stone. The pcb board was $10 and it takes less than $17 in parts, and I think I can find a face plate for around $30. That's a cheap module.
I hope the envelope outs from the VX-351/Voyager will kick that into shape.
Anyone else have modules mixed with their MMV set up?

Yeah, I use my Voyager w/a small modcan system. I can pretty much use anything from the VX and foooger CP w/the modcan sytem. It all is standard +/-5 volts and words great. I like to slow down the V's LFO by modulating it w/Osc 3, and then take the output of that and use it to modulate my Modcan modules, or FM modulate the Modcan VCO w/the Voyager's LFO square wave in audio range.
I have also tried to use my Voyager w/the gate/CV inputs of an MC-202, but it doesn't seem to work well. Somehow the sequencer gets in the way and the gates don't trigger the envelope correctly. Does anyone know enough about an MC-202 to know why?

Yeah, Cynthia basically makes all the modules that Bruce doesn't make. Together they have tons of stuff. 15 different filters and lots of other things. They're pricey but they're incredibly precise and very high-quality. The MOTM stuff looks great also, but I haven't had the pleasure of using any in person.
