Orb: Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld.
Music can Name the Unnamable and Communicate the Unknowable.

'I am... everything is... changed... they're calling... your face... interwoven... who is...' Patient mumbles inaudibly to a tune (sounds like 'Thanks for the memory).

i think the electronic recording i've enjoyed the most are the Jean-Jacques Perry/Gershon Kingsley Vanguard recordings. these are available in the collection "the out sound from way in" (vanguard cd 184/86-2) and include the albums perry and kingsley collaborated on: "the in sound from way out" (1966), "spotlight on the moog" (1967), as well as the perry only albums "the amazing new electronic pop sound of jean-jacques perry" (1969), and "moog indigo" (1970).

it's incredible to hear how completely different the tracks on these albums are from eachother. it's also amazing that they did all this with tape splicing techniques (no samplers in the late 1960s).

Man, I really hope they put out a new album. They have a song or two here and there. "Rock City" on Straight out the Cat Litter 3 is really good. There's actually a video for "Salami Fever" that I've seen on Myspace. Very low budget.
