Post by digimidgi » Wed Mar 14, 2007 6:29 pm

i can't seem to find any help on this on the net.

I just downloaded the 3.3 upgrade and also downloaded Midi-ox.
I've deleted the operating system and gone to send sysex file bank b but i get this error message -

SysEx output devices: The port is transmitting data to the device. Wait until the data has been transmitted, and then try again.

all midi data is send and recieved through my m-audio soundcard

i am so worried :x

midi ox is rubbish. i tried it the other day on my mates pc to update his lp and it took half an hour to work out what was going on with the error messages. massively over complex.

sysex librarian on mac is a dream in comparison. the upadate took me all of one minute.

midi ox is rubbish
Sorry goldphinga, this is absolutely NOT true!
I'm using MIDIOX for many years and it is one of the best MIDI tools.

coming into this with no experience in MIDI, I find Midi-Ox a little 'backward', but after using it a few times, I have no troubles at all. I could think of easier interfaces, but it works.
Took me all of 5 minutes to update this time. Yeah Little Phatty!

Thank you Bob, and you too, Rudi !
