I am using a fully updated Moog Minitaur with the Minitaur Editor in Ableton and can't seem to automate the editor parameters. I explain more below.
For example, when using the editor, and MIDI notes are being played by the Minitaur, I can change the filter in real-time with the editor using my mouse.
I then expected to be able to simply draw in automation for the filter cutoff and it would work in the same way, just automated from the inputs - screenshot (example) to show this below. But, this automation does not change the filter cutoff and I am not sure why and if there is a solution to this.
I have tried using the clip envelopes - automating parameters from there and it works OK, but I prefer not using this method, as I like to create LFO chains and linked parameters in a way that I don't know how to do with clip envelopes - a simple example is using a (changing) LFO to control cutoff.
Is it possible to automate Moog Minitaur editor in Ableton Live?

hi i have the same problem and i can tell you for sure it used to work!!
i am not sure if it's because i switched to ableton 12..(it worked for sure in ablerton 10 and 11)...but also i seem to remember it was working in 12 but i might be confusing...
anyhow it would be good to hear other opinions ...
by the way there is a workaround : use the midi effect "CC control" and assign the relevant midi CC (for instance for cutoff is 19, they are all writen in the manual) then you can write the automation inside the midi effect and it works in the same way
You can also record the knobs movement and the copy it from the editor to the midi CC
