Hello Forum,
I am using an iPad with a type C cable connected to my Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol M32 keyboard - all good.
However, I have latency when listening with Apple AirPods. I would like to switch to wired headphones to avoid latency, but only one type C connector on the iPad ?? So an adapter is needed.
Can someone recommend an adapter that absolutely definitely works?
I have several Ugreen products. Seems a good brand.
type C to connect M32 keyboard
headphone mini jack for audio output from iPad
another type C to charge iPad - this is a nice to have. I suppose I can stop playing, charge iPad and then resume.
thanks for any feedback

Re: Moog model D App - type C adapter help
Hi,
Many USB-C hubs will work. Depending on your needs, you might also want a USB3.0 port or two.
I'm replying to provide this specific advice: ensure that whichever hub you buy can charge your iPad. I bought USB hubs that failed to charge my iPad with everything else connected. I have success with hubs that have 'PD Charging 100W' port. Lower than 100W might not be enough.
(the one I use is this one: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08XJWMNZ8 .. I am not recommending it, just saying it works for me and what actually matters if you buy another USB-C hub is a powerful-enough PD Charging port)
Hope this helps -- Alex

Re: Moog model D App - type C adapter help
Update: I bought this Ugreen adapter https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CJXWJ596? ... E_DDE_dt_1
Unfortunately it does not work. The USB-C connector does not transmitter keyboard midi signal. It must be only configured for charging, data transfer ? So annoying...
When I first connect the M-32 keyboard it all powers up and looks as if it is going to work... but after a few seconds the power stops and all the screens go dark.
The audio headphone jack using wired headphone works, replacing my latency airpods. Looks like I am going to have to dplay 'adapter-hub purchase roulette' again.
It would be helpful if Moog could post a YT video showing how to connect ipPad with the Model D app to a midi-keyboard avoiding audio latency.
