How to enhance Moog Labyrinths Trig (gate length)

Post by KabelsalatKollektiv » Tue Sep 24, 2024 9:42 am

Hello. Hope you can help:
I try to use the sequencer trig outs from Moog Labyrinth to play my other Synthesizers (like DFAM). My Problem is that Labyrinth only outputs Seq Triggers and for a good hearing sound like on the DFAM or other Synths I need a longer CV gate. Is it true that you can't set the gate length or enhance the CV trig of the sequencers? Many thanks,
Christian

The Moog Labyrinths sequencer only produces short trigger pulses, which can be limiting when controlling other synthesizers. To overcome this, you can use a gate expander module, an envelope generator, or even build a DIY circuit to extend the trigger pulses into longer, more sustained gates. These methods allow you to effectively utilize the Labyrinths sequencer to control other instruments and create a wider range of sounds.
