Known bug that mod wheel is off during compare?

I'm wondering if maybe I found a known bug or whether I should report it somewhere. I'm new here, and some searching I did failed to turn up anything, so I thought I'd ask. I only recently acquired my Moog One, and I still have a lot to learn. I've found the compare button to be very helpful in that regard as I can tweak a sound, then hit the compare button to look at what the original parameters were before I started tweaking.

Only I noticed something yesterday: when the compare button is active, the mod wheel seems deactivated or something. I was playing around with the factory "Tomita Whistle" preset, deconstructing it really as such a simple but beautiful thing, and noticed that the mod wheel worked fine with the original patch but doesn't work when compare is engaged. Is that a known bug? If not, should I report it somewhere? Thanks.
