Deleted - probably user error in connecting my Korg oscilloscope

Not sure what kind of scope you're using, but here's what comes to mind to check first:
- if you're using separate probe cables, each with 2 clips, make sure that the probes both have the same ground and one is not swapped
- depending on the scope's capabilities, make sure that you've not set it up in a previous session to invert one of the inputs

Thanks for the reply. I think you are probably right that this is about the way I am monitoring. I am using a Korg NTS-2 oscilloscope and I now see I am getting different results depending on what cables I use! Unfortunately the Korg has two stereo inputs instead of four mono ones, and it looks like I may not be connecting my inputs properly
