Moog One Pitch Wheel Modification?

Post by TahuluLimia » Thu Oct 19, 2023 3:13 am

Greetings,

In my pursuit to recreate a Mellow Gold sound on the Moog One, I've nearly completed the task. However, I've encountered a significant hurdle: the pitch wheel is currently programmed to ascend by two notes in both directions, rather than the desired configuration of ascending two notes in one direction and descending two notes in the other. Despite scouring the Modulation list, I have yet to locate any applicable modifications linked to the pitch wheel for this specific sound. Any guidance or insights regarding this issue would be immensely appreciated.

While the Moog One is undeniably a remarkable synthesizer, it falls slightly short of my cherished Andromeda, which remains my preferred choice. I remain hopeful that advancements in my koowspin sound engineering capabilities will eventually bridge this gap.

I believe pitch wheel can be programmed separately in each preset, with wide range of possibilities. Maybe your "two notes up in both directions" carried over from another preset?

I checked manual and confirmed pitch wheel "up" and "down" can be programmed for each "Synth" with values of plus or minus 24 notes (2 octaves).
