According to the manual p.51 when you are in 2 voice mode and press 1 key only oscillators 1+2 will play.
When you are in 4 voice mode and press 1 key only oscillator 1 only will play.
Thats not the case for me.
When I'm in 2 voice mode and press 1 key only all 4 oscillators play.
When I'm in 4 voice mode and press 1 key only oscillators 1+2 play.
I thought its probably a global setting and found on p.68 the setting for paraphonic unison.
The default is supposed to be off. I tried both on and off but it doesn't do what it is supposed to.
With paraphonic unison mode on when I press 1 key only in 4 voice mode all 4 oscillators play, the way it should be.
With paraphonic unison mode off when I press 1 key only in 4 voice mode oscillators 1+2 play. That's wrong. It should be oscillator 1 only.
Can anyone check please if they got the same issue?
I still can return it as I only just bought it.
Can any Matriarch owners please check if they have the same issue?
Re: Can any Matriarch owners please check if they have the same issue?
i've had mine for a couple of months. in unison mode pressing just one key activates all 4 oscillators. in duo mode, pressing one key activates oscillators 1&2. in paraphonic mode, pressing one key activates just oscillator 1. so at least in my case, the oscillator response is exactly as advertised in the manual. good luck getting your issue resolved.

I also don't have these issues with my matriarch.

Yes. I have this issue with my Matriarch. Please post any solution you may find and I will do the same.

For those who come to this thread like me and believe that there is something wrong with your Matriarch, check that you don't have a midi channel armed from your DAW if you have your Matriarch connected via midi. Every time you press a key the DAW will send the same back and the voices will double, as OP commented above.
