Hello everyone!
This is my first post here,
and I'm happy to be with you on the board!
I recently bought a DFAM, and due to its sequencer limitations and lack of any connectivity (meh), I bought a Korg SQ64 sequencer, which is similar to the Beatstep Pro, providing 3 melodic + 1 drum tracks.
I'm routing the CVs of a melodic track to the patchbay, following the DFAM manual recommended voltages: 10V for trigger/gate, 1V/oct for VCO1 CV, and 0-5V for velocity.
With these values everything works fine except the velocity: the 5V provided @ 127 (full) from the SQ64 is very quiet compared to the DFAM sequencer's at full velocity...
The SQ64 mod CV out I'm using allows for voltage adjusting... I tried raising the voltage for testing and it gets better, but I'm concerned about using a voltage that can damage the device...
Is anybody having a suggestion on the subject?
Thanks a lot!
