Mother-32 Serial Number & Firmware 2.0 / 2.0.1

Hello to everybody!

I’m new to the forum and I’ve just purchased a Mother-32 a couple of days ago.
I still did not have the time to explore the M32.
I was only able to open the box and check that everything is in good order (as it is, if not just for a very minor dent on the edge of one of the wooden side panels).

Since my Mother-32 is brand new, I’m now wondering whether it came with the updated firmware pre-installed or if I will still need to update it manually.

The serial number of my unit is MOM-348xx.
Is there any way to understand the date when this unit was produced?
Also, my user manual does not have on the cover that white circle sticker informing of new FW 2.0 features and manual addendum available online.

Is trying to change the direction of the sequence the only way to check if the FW 2.0 in installed already?
Would I do something wrong in flashing the latest FW 2.0.1 directly on my Mother-32, without first understanding on what FW version the unit is?

Hi,

just thought I would post an update to confirm that after fiddling with the Mother-32 sequencer I could verify that the new features introduces by FW 2.0 are already available on my unit.
So it looks like the S/N is from a batch produced after the release of the updated FW by Moog.
