Subharmonicon Issues

Post by plyogi805 » Sat Jun 26, 2021 1:27 pm

It's been a couple of weeks since I contacted support about getting my unit repaired and I have not heard anything. Here is what issue is. A few weeks ago I was messing with my new Hologram Microcosm with the Subharmonicon and all of sudden no more audio was coming through. I checked to make sure all my settings were at the appropriate levels, I also verified my interface instrument input was working and it was. My pedal is working perfectly and then I verified the audio output was out becuase I used headphones to verify. Everything else seems to be working, the Subharmonicon lights up and based on the lights the sequencer is functioning. I would like to get my unit repaired as I didn't pay $700 and not be able play it after a year. Pleased support where can I send my unit to get repaired?

I’ve had the Subharmonicon for a year, using it on and off. Always worked well. But recently set it up, and I’m not getting any audio from either the back panel 1/4" TR jack or the VCA output in the patch bay.
However, I do get sound when I patch the VCO1 or VCO2 (and the subs) directly, which makes me suspect that the VCA might be faulty.
I’m surprised—given the vintage look of the electronics, I expected these components to last for decades. It’s disappointing that such an expensive piece of hardware is failing this quickly. I’m still waiting on support for a solution.
