Hello,
I would like to check something with you proud Moog One owners...
Moog One16 one week old, brand new from store.
To reproduce:
Create INIT Patch
Turn down all Oscillators in the mixer to 0
Turn up master volume
Start hitting a key repeatingly
My case:
Noisy envelopes (ok I get that)
A loud thump every 15th and especially 16th note prominantly in the attack and a little bit less in the release phase.
I also increased the attack time of the three envelopes but that does not make any difference. The thump keeps on standing out like a sore thumb.
I know gain is massive but if I return to sensible levels it is still very noticable. It became obvious when playing with arpeggiated bass sounds. Every sixteenth note gives this thump.
I have audio recording and waveform picture but I cannot attach it here since I get ättachment quota reached" error. Great!
Thanks
Moog One VCA Thump

Re: Moog One VCA Thump
Ok, so no attachements I guess. Dont now why.
Re: Moog One VCA Thump
Update
Found it is related to the noise reduction parameter. If you put that to 0dB the thump is gone.....

Re: Moog One VCA Thump
Everything more than 6db makes it quite obvious. Factory default I believe it was on 45dB.
Re: Moog One VCA Thump
Okay. I run mine at 3db. I will have to check out the other settings and report back.
